Preparation

Four months ago, I picked up my life in NJ, and moved it across the country to NM. In those four months, God has stretched me in ways I never thought possible, but God has also prepared me for this trying time.

Eleven months ago, I started a program called LIFT. LIFT was a place where God challenged and grew me large ways. He showed me what kind of commitment and sacrifice it takes to be a Christian, even after growing up in a Christian home my entire life. He showed me what life is supposed to look like when it is lived in community. He showed me that even in the valley, he is planning my steps to enable to tread on the heights. Looking back on those changing four months, I see that he was preparing me for this time.

A time where I am put in a position to share my faith with 100 teenagers and their parents. A time where I have the chance to create community in my classroom. A time where I can feel alone, but know a lot more know how God can use valleys in my life. This is a time God has prepared me for.
